The swimming pool is 8m x 4m with an additional "roman step" making it 10m in total. The depth is 1m for the first 2m shelving to 1.4m at the deep end. Deep enough to swim a full length while being safe for nervous swimmers. It is a liner pool in pale blue, kept fresh with chlorine in the normal manner.

Surrounding the pool is a large area of terracing laid in natural stone perfect for sun bathing or sleeping under a shade. We have supplied a "patio" table and chairs, two long loungers and two reclining chairs.

The pool is heated from May to the end of September to 28 degrees and is included in the price. For October the heater will still operate but we cannot always be sure that this temperature will be maintained. It will be many degrees warmer than a non heated pool.

The pool area will be fenced from the house in 2004 to comply with new French law.

We supply a roll away pool cover, this is easy to use and will help to ensure that the heat is stored during the nights.

The pool is cleaned weekly, we leave you with a surface skimmer to remove odd leaves and insects.

The garden is of lawn with shrubbery, flower borders, fruit trees and bedding plants. There is a mature plum tree bordering the small lane with superb fruit in late August - you are welcome to as much as you can eat.

Parking is in a private layby on the small lane.
